I haven't actually spoken to these psychics or gotten a reading

Altea
Internationally known author, psychic and medium,
Rosemary does not take individual clients on a for-pay basis. She
does readings free of charge (on a priority list) for parents who
have lost children, connecting with loved ones on the other side. I have seen Rosemary on Larry King and greatly admired her
straightforward approach. I
don't know if she does in-person private readings, but there is
likely to be a huge waiting list.

Browne
Sylvia Brown is highly popular, she has a huge and loyal
following. My concern is that she
seems to be a little too religious, dogmatic, a bit too certain what awaits us on the other side,
and she is very blunt and direct about what she sees. I
have enjoyed one of her books and learned a great deal from it - but
I am not as certain as she that things are so cut and dried. She has
had some embarrassing slips lately, and she charges a high premium
for her readings.

Chip Coffey
A clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient psychic, as well as
a fully-conscious medium. I was impressed by his straight-forward
approach when he was interviewed on
Coast to
Coast.

Edwards
John seems real to me - I like his approach. I have always
enjoyed his TV appearances. He does in-person private readings but
they are not taking a waiting list right now because it got too big.
Your best bet is to try to see him at one of his personal
appearances.

Geller
I have always been somewhat skeptical about Mr. Geller with the
spoon bending thing <g> ... but I listened to him being
interviewed on the Coast
to Coast Radio show and was really impressed by his attitude. He
was extremely positive about everything he's been through and I
liked his ideas. I don't know if he does "readings" or not
... but he's worth listening to if you get the chance, and I'm
interested in reading some of his books when I get the chance.

Mary Occhino
Psychic, medium, featured in "The
Afterlife Experiments" by Gary Shwartz. I have not had a reading with Mary, but she made an impressive
impact in Dr. Shwartz's books, and in the one radio interview I
listened to she seemed sincere and credible to me.

Pet Psychic
I loved this show, it was so entertaining! Hard to know how for-real
she is, because whenever shows are edited, it is hard to get a real
feel for what connections are actually made. But if she's anything
like she is on the show in person, she's really something. I don't
know if she does private readings, but you may be able to get on the
show if you are in Southern California.

Van Praagh
James Van Praagh has impressed me for many years with his gentle,
compassionate, yet no-baloney approach. A true shame the his TV show
has been cancelled,
but thankfully his work helping people come to terms with the passages of loved
ones goes on. My understanding is he does not do private
readings. His web site has a wonderful chat group - the folks there
are incredibly supportive. If I could get a reading with any of the
famous psychics, he'd be at the top of my list.
